I've been in love with horses since I was 7. I started out riding Western and bareback, graduated to hunt seat equitation, combined training and finally (and exclusively) to dressage. I was a working student at Los Alamos Dressage Center and Keenridge Farm and have shown through Grand Prix.
I took a long break from riding as I raised two boys who were avid athletes but never had any interest in horses. This is when I fell in love with photography. I spent years photographing youth soccer matches, BMX races, water polo and tennis matches -- always interested in capturing the inherent beauty of bodies in motion and the drama of competition.
Now I point my camera at dancing horses and special moments between horse and rider at horse shows or in the arena and barn at home. I live in Ventura, CA.
